Warhammer Online : Usefull Recommended Addons.

Ive decided to show you all what addons I use for Warhammer Online. I found them very useful, and I highly recommend you download the Curse Client from http://www.curse.com.

DECA
THIS ADDON IS BY FAR THE MOST IMPORTANT ADDON FOR THE GAME

Introduction Allows players to use prioritized action chains that utilize a variety of checks. Thus it allows the player to effectively bind multiple actions on a single action button. Features Virtual Cooldowns The newest patch discloses buff data from enemy players. With virtual cooldowns you can lock your abilitys on a target base for a custom time. Preventing you from reapplying your debuffs too early and allowing you to debuff another target immediatly.

How to use DECA -
Important note : If when you press "new" nothing happens, this means another addon is conflicting, please disable all addons till you've set it up.

1) Bring up the main window by typing "/deca" in the chat box.
2) You should see a window with what looks like 2 chains.
3) In the top text box enter a name of the first macro you want. eg. "Shoot" then press the "new" button.
4) You should see the name appear in the first area of the left chain. Highlight the newly created name by clicking once and it will turn red.
5) In the second box (drop down) select your first ability then press the "new" button next to it.
6) Again you should see the ability appear between the chains, and once again you need to Highlight the ability so it becomes red.
7) You should now see alot of selection boxes, just move your mouse over them to see what they do, but the main 3 you should tick are "isAbilityEnabled", "isAbilityNotOnCooldown" and "isTargetValid".
8) Now we can add another ability to the chain...so on the second text box use the drop down box to select your next ability to use and press the "new" button next to it.
9) Again it should appear under the first ability in the middle of the chains.
10) Select it and add the tick boxes again.
11) Congratulations youve started your first casting macro, but its not over.
12) Now if you close the deca window you should see a big button in the middle of the screen, just use the interface layout editor to move it out of the way to a good clicking location (if your a clicker). If you press buttons and prefer to use keys insead of clicking you can create a macro see below.
13) Your done.

Adding virtual cool downs to abilitys with deca -

This is a very usefull option in deca, lets take acid bomb with the engineer, it has no cool down and instant cast, so I usually endup throwing 5 acid bombs on a target because the game doesnt know it does a 20 second tick! with deca you can add a virtual cool down on the acid bomb which will only allow you to throw 1 on a target till 20 seconds runs out. This doesnt stop you throwing acid bombs on others.

1) Type "/virtcool" in to the chat box.
2) Select the ability you want to give a virtual cool down.
3) Fill in the box next to ability that appears with how many seconds you want it to wait.
4) Done.

How to setup a macro for deca buttons -

1) Type "/debug" in the chat box.
2) Put your mouse over the button you wish to use as the macro button.
3) Make a note of the information your given eg. "EA_ActionBar1Action4Action".
4) Now create yourself a macro.
5) The macro text should be "/script DecisionAutomatMain.M2("EA_ActionBar1Action4Action",1)" replacing the numbers with the numbers you just got from the "/debug" window.
6) Just a quick explination of what this all means... EA_Actionbar is the bar your button is on. Action is the button number on that bar. The final number is the listed deca action. For example, if you created 3 deca sequences "shoot" "grenade" "dot" for example... you would change that number with the number it is from the top down.
7) Drag the macro to the button location you selected and your done. just press that button to activate!

Hope this helps! If you get stuck please just respond to this post.
